Here are some thank you notes, along with some pictures and a short video, we received for the care packages we sent at the beginning of the month.
Hi Nancy,
Last week we received 35 care packages from Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas; thank you so much! Yesterday we shared your generous donations with our service members at USO Powidz, but the majority of it we distributed today at FOS Torun, a remote base about 90 minutes from our center.
At FOS Torun, the 1st Armored Division of Fort Bliss, has a small detachment with little access to shopping and they LOVED the items from the care packages. The baby wipes, pringles and instant noodles/meals went fast (as they always do!).
Next week the chaplain will let me know which items were not as popular and I will share with you for future packing events.
Attached is a letter of acknowledgement for your generous donations; thank you again for all of your support to service members during their deployment to Powidz. I also included a picture and a couple videos of the soldiers.
Respectfully,
Dear Airborne Angels Cadets of Texas,
Thank you for donating 35 care packages that included jerky, coffee, granola bars, crackers, and snack nuts, toiletries and more to service members on deployment to USO Powidz in Poland. Your generosity is enabling the USO’s ability to support and empower the military community.
Every day, the USO carries out our mission to strengthen the men and women of America’s military by keeping them connected to family, home and country. We remain dedicated to expanding access to USO centers and programs around the world, increasing annual service connections and boosting transition services for our service members and their families throughout their time of duty.
We rely on the spirit and loyalty of individuals like you who care about this great mission. Thank you for making our work possible.

Thank you so much. We’ve received the boxes and I have a couple pictures from headquarters attached. Hopefully I can get some more photos sent to me to pass along as the boxes reach our Soldiers in Syria and elsewhere in Iraq. Thank you again for all that you do. Deployment is hard and these little pieces of home are so lovely for our Soldiers to receive. Have a great week!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good morning, Nancy,
I had the opportunity to send out some of your boxes and some from another organization. Here is the picture from the team that picked them to get them packed and sent out to an undisclosed location.
