Altrusa Members Decorated Care Package Boxes

Thank you Altrusa members for decorating the boxes we use for the care packages we send to our troops serving overseas. We hope the "Love Notes" on the flaps of the boxes bring a smile to the solders as open the boxes and find the goodies we have packed inside.

Care Package Thank You Notes and Pictures

Here are some thank you notes, along with some pictures and a short video, we received for the care packages we sent at the beginning of the month.

Hi Nancy, 

Last week we received 35 care packages from Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas; thank you so much! Yesterday we shared your generous donations with our service members at USO Powidz, but the majority of it we distributed today at FOS Torun, a remote base about 90 minutes from our center. 

At FOS Torun, the 1st Armored Division of Fort Bliss, has a small detachment with little access to shopping and they LOVED the items from the care packages. The baby wipes, pringles and instant noodles/meals went fast (as they always do!). 

Next week the chaplain will let me know which items were not as popular and I will share with you for future packing events. 

Attached is a letter of acknowledgement for your generous donations; thank you again for all of your support to service members during their deployment to Powidz. I also included a picture and a couple videos of the soldiers.

Thank you so much. We’ve received the boxes and I have a couple pictures from headquarters attached. Hopefully I can get some more photos sent to me to pass along as the boxes reach our Soldiers in Syria and elsewhere in Iraq. Thank you again for all that you do. Deployment is hard and these little pieces of home are so lovely for our Soldiers to receive. Have a great week!

Santander Consumer USA Volunteer Day 2025

Some great volunteers from Santander Consumer USA came to our warehouse on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 to help us prepare for our next care package packing party. They taped around 250 boxes and decorated the flaps on the boxes with "love notes" to the soldiers. Their service is greatly appreciated as it saves us time so we can focus on collecting, sorting and preparing the snacks and toiletries for our next packing party.

International Leadership of Texas School at Mansfield Heritage Donates Goods

Mrs. Ramos and the 5th graders at the International Leadership of Texas school at Mansfield Heritage K8 collected goods for our military troops. They collected over 7 boxes filled with foot powder, deodorant, granola bars, nuts, bar soap and beef jerky. These items will be sent in care packages destined for our troops deployed far from home.

Care Package Packing Party for the US Troops - March 1, 2025

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, along with some fantastic volunteers from Ridgemont Commercial Construction packed care packages at our packing party on March 1, 2025. The total for the day was over 200 boxes totaling more than $8,300 in shipping costs for 12 U.S. Military units stationed in the Mideast, Africa and Eastern Europe

Here are some letters we received from two soldiers that received some of the care packages we have mailed. As you can see, the snacks, toiletries and seasonal decorations mean so much to our soldiers serving overseas. We are happy to be able to support our troops with some love from home.
