How can you help our nonprofit send care packages to some of the most remote of the roughly 150,000 U.S. military troops serving overseas in 2025?

1) Donate Financially - Our greatest need is cash for our mailing costs. With no paid staff, we strive to maximize the use of donations. We are a 501(c)(3) charity, so your gifts are tax deductible. We accept checks to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, P.O. Box 116691, Carrollton, TX 75011. You can donate via credit card through our Click and Pledge account. Or you can Venmo us at NancyCarter@AirborneAngels.

2) Donate Goods - Our all-volunteer charity is based in the Dallas area, but receives product donations from across the USA for care packages for our Soldiers and Troops overseas. We kindly request that you contact us at support@airborneangelcadets.com before sending any care package goods.

2025 A Year in Review

Happy Holidays

2025 was an incredible year for the Airborne Angels, marking our 20th anniversary of mailing care packages to deployed troops serving around the world. With our 7 major packing events and numerous smaller shipments throughout the year, here are a few stats that you might be interested in:

We mailed over 2500 boxes filled to the brim with goodies and love, reaching nearly 15,000 troops with those boxes!

Total weight of goods sent was about 35,645 lbs.

Total cost of postage was around $62,000.

Our packages reached troops serving in Iraq, Kuwait, Djibouti, Kenya, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Kosovo, Jordan and Estonia.

Of course none of this would be possible without the many amazing donors, sponsors and partners who give so generously during the year. Without all of our supporters, in our community and nationwide, we could not do what we do.

Our Christmas care packages were shipped out in November to allow sufficient time to reach our troops so that they could pass out the 1600 mini stockings, hand warmers, knit hats, gloves, decorations and other goodies. Here are some of the notes we received from the units that received the boxes:

With the help of our chaplain and mail clerks, I send some of the packages to our Soldiers deployed to locations with more austere conditions such as in Syria and Iraq.

Anything helps and everything is appreciated! Snacks, treats, and hygiene products are always useful.

Again, thank you for taking time to think of us over here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thank you very much for all the help and assistance you have offered for us down range, we surely appreciate it. The Christmas stockings was a HUGH hit with our troops.

We have received your packages with the stockings. They are a great boost to our morale.

Thank you all for everything! The stockings are being distributed steadily to everyone. The most popular items are those related to hygiene.

We love your boxes and are always ready for them! I think as always snacks and bug spray are the most appreciated. Anything you send we are happy to receive!  Happy holidays!

Classic Chevrolet and the Tom and Susan Durant Foundation Donation

The Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas would like to thank Classic Chevrolet and the Tom and Susan Durant Foundation for selecting our charity as a 2025 recipient of their fund raising efforts. As one of the charities they supported in 2025, we received a generous donation from both Classic Chevrolet and their partner, Ally Financial,. The donation will ensure the continuation of our mission of sending much needed care packages to our deployed military troops serving in harm's way.  We are humbled by Classic's generosity and their belief in the importance of our support for U.S. military troops. Our sincerest gratitude to their employees, vendors, dealer partners and owners Tom and Susan Durant.

Life School Lancaster Elementary Donates Pringles to the Troops 2025

For the fourth year, Life School Lancaster Elementary in Lancaster, TX, held a "Operation Pringles" drive for Veterans Day. The elementary students, K - 6, collected cans of Pringles for the troops. We include the cans of Pringles in the care packages we send to our troops serving overseas, so this will keep us supplied for a number of care packages. The soldiers will love opening the boxes to find the cans of chips inside.

Thank you to the staff, the students and their families for being so generous and supporting our Troops.
